CarPlay audio glitch

When using wireless CarPlay - the first second or so of alerts/directions is cut off each time.

For example it should say " Roadworks reported ahead " but all I hear is " ...reported ahead "
OR instead of " In 300ft Turn right " I just hear " ..urn right "

When using wired, this issue does not occur.

I have read many people having this issue, no solutions however.
I think it is an inherent problem with Bluetooth/WiFi latency.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

Appears to be present since iOS 14 was released. I wonder if iOS 26 will fix it.
Phone is iPhone 11 using Waze

It has happened to me off and on with no recognizable pattern between two different cars for years now. I keep the guided route view of Maps open when relying on turn-by-turn so I can try to see what it may be referring to if it cuts off like that.
