As an owner of a MINI 3 door hatchback, I have been curious about when MINI would adopt CarPlay. Well now it seems that all models will get CarPlay as an option this year, with the new Countryman model receiving it first.

I've had my MINI for 18 months now and expect that the dealer will be encouraging me to buy a new one before long. Given that the MINI Connected app is pretty pathetic, the implementation of CarPlay will be a bonus (although I expect we'll have to pay handsomely for the option...)
