Hello everyone. I have a 2017 sonata with CarPlay and an iPhone 7 updated with the latest iOS that I hookup to it. In the past, when I bring up the maps app and CarPlay and put in a destination point, the map shows the direction I'm travelling as up on the screen and the screen zooms into my current location and follows me along.

Recently, like in the last week, this is no longer the case. When I put in a destination and go, the map never zooms in and it just stays in the same orientation the whole time with North showing "up" on the screen? I did not change anything, it just started doing this.

Has anyone else seen this issue or know how to fix it? It's very frustrating.

On my 17 VW - you press the screen near the top and it shows an arrow and pressing that symbol changes the orientation from up is direction traveling to north up etc.
Not sure how you do some thing on a sonata and if it has a touch screen.
I have a similar type problem with it starting up is direction and if I end up at a stop light some time it changes back to north up
