CarPlay still disconnecting wireslessly

My iPhone 17 pro is still disconnecting from wireless CarPlay several times on a journey VW Golf estate 2 yrs old. Both car and phone on latest softwareupdates
If the 16 e or even the air or regular iPhones didn’t do this I would sell my phone and buy one of them.
Can anyone please advise as it driving me to distraction literally

Have you tried remove the bluetooth profile on your car and on your phone and then re-add it back in? Sometimes that helps.

Oh one more thing, do you have any other VPN apps like Norton 360 installed in your phone? The reason I asked is that wireless carplay relies on bluetooth and wifi connection to work. If anyone of them is not working properly you will loose connection.
