iPhone 11 Pro Carplay Wireless Runs Hot/Hotter than Wired

Off to do some testing. With my new IPP 11, running Waze (maybe it's a combo fo that and 13), but I feel like it runs -cooler. In my previous setup with XS, you could feel it running -warm- under the case.

Going to run carplay wired and wireless (wireless carplay but wired for charging) to see if there is a noticable difference in ~heat~

When I used to take long trips running waze, I would take off the case at times, just to dissipate some of the heat - aka, heat degrades batteries
 
Wired, charging.....not wired, not charging. Explains the heat, right??
 
Same cord/same care - the IPP 11 compared to my former XS - running waze while plugged in does feel -cooler- to the touch.

My last remark was to run the IPP via carplay, not charging, but with wireless -carplay- to see/observe it generates more - heat- since it's running the BT/wireless radios when running wireless-carplay-

How do you disable charging while using Wired CarPlay?
