Carrier logo on iPhone X

As far as I'm able to tell, on the iPhone X there is no more space for the carrier logo. Am I correct in this?

On the Apple website, there's a 3-sec video available where the phone is unlocked:

For me personally, I'd enjoy it very much to stop being remembered about my carrier

I heard it shows on either Control Center or Cover Sheet (Notification Center) but I don’t remember which one.

I agree. I would rather not see the carrier logo and would have a much cleaner look to it.

It's certainly no loss for me!

Talking about the new status bar thing, I don't know why Apple, seen as it was gently overhauling iOS 11 anyway, didn't implement the split notifications/control centre across all devices. Because that would have made much more sense, and worked quite nicely...

I'd have been happy to change to that workflow.
