Carrier logo on Verizon iPhone

We have been trying to figure out how to change the carrier on the verizon iPhone. We can change the text to say anything but we cannot get a .png up there. Any suggestions?

I have been rummaging around the carrier files and have yet to find a viable solution. I hope someone can post some findings here.

cydia has a tweak taht will allow this...as long as your jailbroken.

can you elaborate? all the ways to do this for at&t iphone do not work on the Verizon version.
