Carrier or through Apple?

Unlocked/Verizon through Apple. It might be more expensive without carrier incentives but I won’t be locked into a plan.

Carrier because I can't order with T-Mobile through the app it only offers full retail. No one still has responded why that is still.
The above comment is correct. Beware, though, be prepared for T-Mobile preordering nightmare. All T-Mobile customers have gone and will generally go through this nightmare every pre-order. Thankfully, I left them and am free for the upgrade headache :)

I usually schedule them to call me at 11:59 pm (AZ time) and then I wait a min with the rep on the phone and preorder it, took less then 10 mins and had my phones first day ;-). But yeah T-Mobile isn't great with reserving

Waiting for Apple sim free. I have Cricket and they are even more delayed selling the new iPhone, plus it's locked with no discount. I would preorder the T-Mobile model from Apple but I just prefer sim free. Not having it launch day doesn't bother me.

First year on T-Mobile, but will probably have to order through the carrier. Don't want to pay full retail up front.

I believe apple than carrier ...
carrier has low supplies so it easy delay
