Carrier unlock? any unlock yet?

Hi, I want to buy iphone 4 from the US but use it in my country but I cant since they are locked to AT&T. Is there anyway yet, to unlock iphone 4 to other carriers?

Yes and no. From what I've heard the unlock is ready but sadly the JB isn't. Since you can't unlock unless you JB the unlock is worthless ATM.

Well the iPhone 4 uses a completely different baseband so the unlock may not be ready. Also, there is some new security checking built into the baseband somehow.

Patience is the word. it will be awhile.
