Carrier Update

Im on bell mobility and I got a strange alert on my iPhone 4s yesterday that said "do you want to install a carrier update" I clicked yes and it was done.
This wasn't a software update...seemed like something else.
Anyone know what this was?

It was an update to the carrier bundle. Usually done to change cellular network settings. It does not effect the jailbreak status of the iDevice.
