I’m leaning towards using Apple’s Store app to upgrade. I haven’t done this before though.

The nearest Apple Store is about 40 minutes away. T-Mobile is 5 minutes away.

I don’t have a ton of faith in upgrading on T-Mobile’s site or app. I trust Apple more. If I want it sent to a T-Mobile store though, can I do that, or does it have to be shipped to home? I have a feeling that’s possible using T-Mobile’s app / site, but not Apple’s, correct? I wouldn’t want it sitting on the porch while I’m at work.

I cant understand why my 15 pro is worth 1100 if I get the 17pro but only 830 if I get the Air. I can get the 17pro for free or pay $170 for the air? That makes no sense at all.

In NZ we have the "next generation"!

Edit: I just noticed that the page title reads "Pre orders for iPhone 17 Air will start soon", but that doesn't appear to be on the page itself.

I worked at an ad agency for one of the US carriers on the marketing side.

Assets are not released until the event is over. Then it’s a mad dash to download them from Apple and upload them into our DAM system. Then we had to determine which asset goes where and flow them into our templates.

And then every asset — get this — goes back to Apple for approval. This can take hours. Once approved, then we could then publish them in our respective channels.

Honestly it’s a miracle that the carriers can get their assets up as fast as they can. There are teams working around the clock right now to make sure everything is good to go for preorder.

I don’t miss those days.
