Case and raised camera housing

Here's a thing. I just received the case I ordered for my X, and what occurred to me is this: why don't case makers put a little 'foot' on the opposite side of the case to the camera so the phone sites properly and doesn't wobbly when you use it when it is sitting on a flat surface? Just wondering.

an elevated phone may interfere with wireless charging perhaps.

Good point, but I think if the top is raised only as high as the camera housin, it shouldn't interfere.
