I haven't decided on getting the 6s or 6s+, and finding the proper case is the big holdup. I've been shopping for the past couple of hours and had no luck. It doesn't help that several of the big names have really lousy sites with hidden or missing contact links so I can't email them directly. I'm really hoping that some of the people here who have a lot of case experience can offer some constructive input.
My current case is an Otterbox Defender on an iPhone 5. I previously had a Speck case on an iPhone 4, I don't remember what it was called but it had huge chunky rubber squares on it, like a chocolate bar made out of a gas pedal. Both have been excellent cases and I can't find anything like either of them for the 6/6+.
I need wraparound protection. Hardshell or rubberized makes no difference, but I would say the edge goes to rubberized for the grip-ability. I need complete port and button protection like my Defender. I also need a belt clip/shell for it, preferably one that covers the complete back of the phone (including the camera) just like my Defender. So why not get a Defender? asks Capt. Obvious...
One of the biggest gripes I have with every case I've seen has been the lack of home button protection. My job is exceeding messy, and I spend most of the day covered in grime and sweat as well as being on the move constantly and running into things, having things run into me. Like an oil rig worker who does full contact sports on his lunch break. I know that everyone seems to have fallen prey to the TouchID and thats why the protection doesn't exist anymore, but I really don't like the idea of something so sensitive being exposed to what I go through daily. Any iPhone I used that didn't have complete face protection - again, like my Defender - just isn't going to survive more than a few days. I'm not kidding.
Please post up your suggestions. Thanks.
