Has anyone bought the Incase Hardshell Case for the M2 Macbook Air 2022 and had success with it? I ordered mine from the apple store and noticed that when it was installed, it causes the lid of the Macbook to flex so that the two front corners don't contact the laptop body when closed. When the laptop is picked up and carried by one hand on the hinge side the lid tends to fall open about 1/4" because the magnets aren't within range to hold it shut.

At first I thought I bent my lid installing it but then I took it off and the Macbook closed fine. so the apple store sent me a replacement and I had the same results with that one. So I contacted Incase and sent them a video to alert them of what I think is a design or manufacturing defect. I tried asking their support if this is a known issue and their response was to send me another replacement (#3 now) without answering the question... I thought maybe they were sending an updated version but when it arrived and didn't fit I thought I should try to confirm its not an issue with my Macbook Air.

At this point I'm just looking for confirmation from someone else who has a 2022 Air and the Incase Shell that it either fits or doesn't fit so I can make sure its not an issue with my Macbook Air (I really doubt this is the case given Apple's quality control - also another generic shell case I got from Amazon fits fine).

I have just received my incase for my new MacBook Air and I have noticed the same issue as you. I don't fancy leaving the case on as it must be straining the hinges or warping the top/screen. I hope to send it back no problems to Apple Store online. Can you recommend the case you bought from amazon please as I definitely need to protect this lovely Mac.
