Case for 5s gold

Do you need to get a case and screen protector for the 5s? How does the aluminum back and glass withstand day to day use?
And any suggestions for the case for 5s gold?

I was able to find a completely clear case at an AT&T store that really showed off the gold color. I believe it was made by casemate.


I've never went caseless, so I'm not sure how the gold holds up to scratches etc.

How is the front glass, is it scratch resistant for normal use? I would prefer to use as bare as possible. I had 3GS and the front wasn't glass so had to use a screen protector and a case which takes away the feel of the iphone.

Yes. The Caudabe in the frost version looks terrific on the gold. Every other person with a gold iphone in my office has this case.

My screen doesn't have any scratches and I just toss it in my purse with my keys and lord knows what else is in there.

I feel like this topic pops up every other day. But anyway, I also vouch for the Caudabe Veil. The frost color looks great on the gold iPhone. My wife has pretty much converted all of her other gold-iPhone-bearing friends as well.
