I just ordered a G4 MacBook from ebay and I want to know the best outer case to buy for it - the one that protects against accidental dropping, etc.

You will want to find out exactly what you ordered first, because there is no G4 MacBook. I say that not to just point out that there never was a G4 processor in the MacBook, but because the iBook (where there was a G4) and the MacBook are different sizes. There were two iBooks, a 12" and a 14", both 4:3, and then after that there was the MacBook, 13", 16:9. You'll want to figure out what you ordered before anyone can help you find a case. Good luck!

When you sort out which model you have, there are several threads on picking out a good case. I'm personally very fond of Waterfield and Booq products.

Well, the MacBook is 16:10 but everything else is right.

If it's a G4 then it's an iBook and will either be 12" or 14".

If it's a MacBook then it doesn't have a G4 processor in it, it will have an Intel chip and they are all one size, 13.3".

Of course. Thank you for correcting me, Chundles. :)
