So I want to get a sleeve case for my new mbp asap. I don't like the idea of it in my backpack without some clothing on haha :).

I was hoping to get your guys' input. here are my three choices:

1) incase neoprene: some say the fit isn't that great because its for the old mbp, haven't tested it in person ~$40

2) waterfield sleevecase: i'm not too sure how much bulk it would add. I have a padded sleeve in my bag and its already tight with the mbp. ~$50

3)waterfield suede jacket: very thin, i had a microfiber sleeve for my macbook and it was superthin. protects against scratches but nothing else. ~$35

any ideas?

i'm looking for the enough protection but not too bulkly. I know that the macbook needed a lot of protection from scratches and chips but i'm not too sure how much the MBP needs from dents, scratches and chips. Being an apple owner, im pretty ocd. I would never throw my bag around, never leave the house with my mbp without a case, etc haha

Since when you judge the quality of a sleeve by the laptop?
By far, the incase one is the best in the bunch. number 2 is great but not entirely cover. number 3 is soft and good but too thin, it will not absorb any impact. The incase will fit perfectly since it is considered loose with the previous gen.

About dents and damages when dropping. It all depends on your backpack. I put a towel on the bottom of my backpack before i place my protected MBP on top. the towel will absorb impact much if not all.
