I've been using an old iPod touch 2nd gen as my music player while skating, but would prefer to have my phone on me while I do. I have a 7 Plus. There's no way I'd skate with my phone in my pocket caseless, or minimal protection like some people I know. I prefer to go caseless when not skating.

I'm looking for some recommendations for a good protective case that could potentially withstand me falling on it, but also isn't too difficult to take on and off when not skating. The Otterbox Defender is the obvious go-to, except it's not at all easy to take on and off, and a little expensive for the limited use it'd get.

I got a sleeve for mine when I'm at the gym. I like going caseless as well, but for some reason while I'm working out my phone likes to drop out of my pocket.

I'm looking for something rigid that would prevent it from bending if I fall on it when a trick goes bad.
