I was surprised to find a set of wireless ear buds when I opened my iPhoneX. I believe that they come with a case when purchased separately. Is it possible to purchase a case?

Are you referring to the wired earbuds that come with your iPhone? They sort of appear wireless until you unbox them...

The iPhone X does NOT come with AirPods, which is wireless. However, it does come with EarPods, which is wired. EarPods do not come with a case, but the AirPods do.

Surprised anyone on MR would be fooled by that. Since we apparently know EVERYTHING that iPhones do and don't come with. See the many complaint threads about lack of freebees. I was thrilled that the iPhone still comes with the 3.5mm dongle, I would lose my **** if it came with airpods.

Yes, Fortunately, we still have choices. My wired EarPods are quickly becoming my backup.

I am finding the Airpods extraordinary for non-music listening and phone conversations, though short-lived for battery life. Who knew I’d ever need alternating Airpods with Beats 2 wireless?

It’s great not to walk away from a tv show during a commercial only to find my iphone dragging behind me.
