Case interferes with flash - how should I make it bigger?

So until I get a free case from Apple I got a cheap case from eBay for now, although the case messes with the flash.

What should I use to make the hole bigger, has anyone done this? Scalpel? Hole puncher, something over fire maybe and pierce it through?

Or mark the inside edge with a sharpie marker and that will fix the problem as well.

Until I choose a new case for my iP4, I'm using my old 3G's Switcheasy case. I used a short piece of metal pipe as a punch. I positioned it where I wanted the hole and hit it with a hammer. I put the case on a block of wood and punched the pipe into it. It left a nice clean hole.
