I have one for my 3gs , vey slim but this new one they v 2.0 have no clue why its 49.99 ?

I think it's b/c of the ABS material, which looks very durable. It's a steep price, but I want a thin durable case and would be willing to pay for it.

it looks very similar to the Incipio feather. the only problem i see with this type of case (aside from flash issues if they have them) is that the sides do not seem to extend to cover the top of the front glass. that means they won't help if phone drops and lands on the front edges.

excellent point. does the incipio feather case have a similar disadvantage?
I had to buy an iFrogz lux lean on day 1 for my phone because I have a very playful 18-month old kid, so protection is a must.

my wife has a speck candyshell and I have seen with my eyes what a lifesaver that case is.
my wife dropped it from her hands about 5 feet from the ground and the only thing that saved the phone was the sides that extend to cover the top of the front glass.!

so with that in mind, I'm also looking for something similar but I love the way the ifrogz lux and the incipio feather just grip the phone from the side and back and nothing else, it's very neat.
so, what are my options then?

I just got mine and it's the best case for any iPhone I've ever bought. Highly recommended if you're looking for minimalist, less is more, design.

can you post pictures and a brief review? any camera flash issues? does it cover the top edges of the glass at all? the photos on case-mate's site aren't that great.
