Case-Mate Pop! for iPhone 4 - Watch Out CandyShell!

Looks nice will need to consider the white one. But where did he get it from? During the review he showed a $29.99 price vs. Case-Mate web-site $34.99?
I happened to have seen one of these in person the other day. In concept very similar to the Candy Shell. It offers more grip though from the rubber, ribbed sides unlike the Candy Shell which is all plastic on the outside.
It's a bit of a looser fit than the Candy Shell. That may or may not be good depending on how you feel. It's certainly easier to get on and off than the Candy Shell, but not by much.
It it wasn't for the candy shell flaking I wouldn't have gotten the otterbox commuter or any other case for that matter. But this case looks sweet.

Anyone own this and the candyshell? If so, what are your thoughts in comparison? Protection? Looks? Fit? Cosmetic (Show scratches like candyshell?, except white which shows none on the candyshell)?
I really like my candyshell but cannot stand the flaking. If this case offers everything that the candyshell does, then i will buy it.

I have both and I much prefer the Pop. Here's why.
1. The grip. The sides are made of the interior rubber and it grips better.
2. Better button performance.
3. Does not scratch as easily. It does show some scratches but not nearly the issue of the Speck.
4. Rubber does not flake.
5. 2 tone colors look better IMO.
6. Comes with a screen care kit.
7. Thinner and better overall form factor.
Protection is the same as well. I think this case protects a bit better. The inside rubber is softer and should absorb shock better. The only thing I do not like is the lip is raised a bit more. Some folks may like this more since it offers better lay on the table design and more protection. Finally I am not a huge the single large cutout on the bottom. Its not a big deal and does allow for easier docking and after market chargers. My 2 cons could be seen for some as pros.
I gave my Speck to a friend and haven't looked back.

Received my white POP! case today.
Currently own many cases, and this is definitely on the top of the list. Only one I'd rate above this is the Pixelskin HD.
Only thing I do not like is the sleep/awake button. Not very tactile at all IMO. Should have been a little bigger.
Mute button is quite recessed, but still easily available.

Damn, after only 2 days of receiving this case the grey silicone as already started to flake off and turn white! It looks like it has the same issue as the Hula case with its silicone. I will be getting a warranty replacement for this. Case-mate has great design but they use cheap silicone
