Case of the disappearing folder!

So I was using Adobe Bridge and I renamed a folder. I renamed it with a title that has "." before the title. So it was ".Childhood".

Which made it disappear. It is still taking up space on the drive. Yet I can't search for it.

How can I find it again?

I assume I can do this via Terminal

Sounds like you made the folder invisible. Follow the instructions here: http://www.brooksandrus.com/blog/2007/03/23/mac-os-x-show-hide-hidden-files-in-finder/ to allow the Finder to search for invisible files. Cheers.
