just requested a genius bar appt after noticing a persistent issue with my 2015 rMB. the left front corner of the enclosure (as i have device open using it) does not lay flat on the hard surfaces i am working on. results in a very distracting click/tap on every touch on the device which is NOT the new keystroke sound.
gently tapping on the left front corner, results in clear tap. doesn't seem to matter what surface. if i rotate the device in 90 degree increments, and tap same corner, it still taps (ruling out uneven surface).
so not sure if this is an expected variation in the 'flatness' of the enclosure but there seems to be a potential issue that a millimeter of flex in enclosure can be pretty meaningful.
before you ask, i have treated this thing like a baby and have not dropped mistreated the device. will update after GB appt but suspect they will swap me out.
looking under the device, while backlit, confirms that the left front 'foot' is not on table.
