I have a Otterbox Traction case for the XS Max I just replaced with the Pro Max. I was hoping to get the same case for the Pro Max but they dont list it for any of the 12 models.

I like the case because the sides are rubber and have a texture and have a nice grippy feel. Also like the clear back of the case to show off the new blue iphone.

Does anyone have any details on if the Otterbox Traction series cases will eventually be released for the 12's OR have you found a similar case from another maker??

I can’t speak for the traction case but Walmart and Target are having a sale now until Black Friday for the defender cases, $20.

I picked one up today and I didn’t think it added too much bulk to it. Coming from an X to the 12PM was quite the size difference too.

Not familiar with the Traction case. I got a clear Symmetry case when I picked up my phone last Friday. On one hand, I love the thickness of the bumpers because I know if the phone falls it is well protected. Grip is fantastic. The back side is a smudge magnet, also gets slick and the buttons have very little tactile feel. Perhaps in time it will improve. It might be worth looking at if you want to stick with Otter. I compared it to the black Symmetry case and black felt too slick in my hand right out of the box.

Incipio makes a case that has plenty of grip on it. In fact it's called Grip.
