Hi,

I have a case for my I5. Its standard, except the back is almost transparent/clear (smoky grey). Around the camera and flash it is cut out (makes sense). I have been told that bc the back is clear (actually smokey grey but u can see through it) that when i take a pic in a low light situation the flash will reflect off it and distort the pic slightly with a halo affect. I cant seem to tell the difference (i dont have a phototographers eye), but has anyone heard this rumor or can canyone validate it and an explain?

tks again

Yea it can give a hazy effect. If you see some cases that are colored (eg white) they'll have a black outline around the flash

Basically this stops giving a washed out effect
