It's a general consensus heat+batteries are not the best mix. When using a app like Waze, which runs the processor already, even with a 75% charged battery charging via car charger, noticed the back of the case quite warm. I just swapped cased to a Otterbox - have had the leather wallet case on my X for the last 3 months - and never noticed it hot in the back.

Anyhow, what camp do you fall in. Naked to let the heat dissipate or heat/battery not even on your radar ?

I’ve had the X since Nov. 3rd and use Waze all the time while the phone is in a case and plugged in. However, my case is the super thin peel case. It does get a little warm which is normal considering the screen is constantly on, gps is constantly being used, and it’s plugged in, but I don’t worry about it. I also have AC+ and am on the IUP so if anything happens I have peace of mind with the AC+ as well as upgrading every year anyway. With that being said, my battery is performing just as excellent as the day I got it and Coconut Battery still shows full capacity.
