I am starting this thread because I have become frustrated with the major companies of iPhone 5 cases that have FAILED to consider or incorporate an opening large enough to accept the 30 pin to lightning adapter. I have 3 adapters, one on my alarm clock, one in my truck, and I carry one for general use and have only found ONE quality case that was designed almost properly.

The iPhone 5 case that I am currently using is the Seidio Suface w/Metal Kickstand in Green and they made an opening on the bottom that will accept the adapter. The downside is that the rubber edge between the home button and lightning port is very flimsy and floppy instead of being rigid. The edge that protects the face of the iphone if laid down is also to high and could be half the height and still be effective. With this in mind, I have been searching for other cases because I also purchased Otter Box Commuter and the adapter DOES NOT fit.:(

I would like to see posts from other case users and their personal experience/pictures with the use of the 30 pin to lightning adapter. Did you alter it or did the company use their heads and incorporate the adapter into the design???

Thank You and hope this thread helps those that did not go out and buy all new accessories to accommodate Apples port changes again.
