I have gone through several threads but can't find a case that not only protects the back but also the front of the iPhone - when it would fall.

Any suggestions?

Any of the heavy duty cases will protect the front:

Otterbox

Lifeproof

Griffin

Ballistic

I had the Otterbox defender on my 4, but went with the lifeproof for my 4s due to it being water proof and me having a 6 year old that spills alot of liquids near me:eek:

i see some store selling these cases that are White Book Style Protective Leather Case with Magnetic Flap for iPhone 4G, you can search it on google to buy.

Chances of flap protecting the fallen iPhone are the same as it landing on the back. Its good for keeping in pocket against keys, etc. but for that I could get a screen.

Will check these out, have seen Otterbox, good but a little too bulky on the sides, which I think is a little unnecessary.
