I just purchased my first MBP just a little while ago online. Where and what is the best case protection to get?

What MBP size do you have?
Have you looked at any of the other three thousand cases threads yet?

It is a 15". I have tried searching the threads, but only found 1 obvious thread. I tried looking up best cases, but I don't know how to do a phrase search, so it gave me every thread with either word in it and not both.

I think a majority of people will recommend either Speck, InCase, or Invisible Shield. I'm certain there are at least a few more out there (Twelve South's BookBook comes to mind) but the first 2 are the popular ones.

from those choices, I would choose one of the first two as well.

Is there a difference between speck and speck products. I found cases on amazon for both. Looking at the clear. Like this one.

Will this fit my 2011? says 2009 and 2010 but shouldn't it fit 2011?

I use this case: http://www.goincase.com/products/detail/perforated-hardshell-case-cl57469 it's pretty nice. I like it because it's vented and allows better heat transfer throughout the case

"Best" is subjective.

I like the Speck cases, but that's because they fit my needs.
