Look I don't know if this was just a factory default with my case but......In 16 years of using cases for cell phones I never had such a difficult time removing a case. Even inserting the case the snap on the last corner is brutal.
When removing it I honestly thought I was going to either bend the phone or rip off the screen. That top lip bites down on the side of the screen like a shark.
Returning it this week. It's a nice looking case with solid material and the best side grip of any case I ever used ( it feels sticky, it's perfect) but I just can't use a case that needs the hulk to remove it.

Hi Maurier! That is really strange. As a case reviewer, I have lots of experience with CASETiFY cases, and I wouldn't characterize the 13 Pro Max Ultra Impact as being very hard to install or remove. Firm fitting, perhaps...but nothing like you are describing. I have at least 5 or 6 CASETiFY Ultra Impact 13 Pro Max cases and I frequently take them on and off as I am always changing my cases for review purposes, as well as for fun. I think something must be wrong with your case! Is this your first experience with CASETiFY's Impact line? And what other cases do you typically use?

You can see me installing and later removing the 13 Pro Max Ultra Impact in this video--maybe this will help?

Good luck!!

I also had a Casetify impact on my 11 pro max and was nothing like this.
The one for the 13 pro max was a nightmare to remove. When installing the case the amount of pressure I had to apply to get the last corner in was forewarning of things to come when removing it.
My Ghostek Atomic Slim it's a tight fit but nothing like the Casetify.
Atm I'm using the Otterbox defender xt.
Thanks for the reply.
