Apple Card Cash Card

My wife and I share the same Apple Credit Card. When I make a purchases, the 2% is transfered to my Cash Card on my iPhone but not on my wife's iPhone. Is this the way its suppose to work?

Did you merge the Apple Card to both apple ID’s? It should give cash back to whoever made the purchase. The Apple Cash cards are not linked together.
