If I use Apple pay, do I get cashback from my credit card? Example: My Amex Blue give 6% in grocery shop, if I pay with ApplePay at WholeFoods do I get 6%?

I use Apple Pay with my Bank of America VISA and get the same points I did before using Apple Pay, so I don't think it matters.

I thought you were going to ask if you can get cash out the till via apple pay by using your debit card on apple pay. We call that cashback in the UK!

That's what I was thinking originally as well (as it's basically referred to the same way in US as well). This is more of a "Do we still get the same credit/debit card rewards when we use Apple Pay?" type of thread/question.

I'd like to know the answer to both ! :)

Well, the rewards program part has been answered earlier in the thread. The actual cash back with a debit card, likely has a similar answer in an Apple Pay and/or particular bank issuer FAQ type of page.
