iPod touch Casing and Mounts

Im out of the country at the moment but am interested about mounting my ipod on my motorcycle its a 06gsxr 600 and im worried about the vibrations damaging the ipod, i have a silicone case which might help a little but i need help on a better case and/or mount for it, and having it in my pocket isnt a option either cause i bought a motogp suit here for only $150 and its a new BKS so i couldnt resist, another issue is my gloves and the touch screen...any input is appreciated.

I don't know about your first problem, but as for using your glove with your iPod:

Maybe if you want to keep your current gloves, your could rip off those contact dots and sew them on? Just a suggestion.
