iPad Cat clawed my new Belkin Ultimate keyboard case

As the title says...

My cat clawed my new Belkin Ultimate keyboard case and put a few holes on the black side of the case. I'm still within the return / exchange period. Am I dreaming to think that I could exchange it for a new one? Anyone know what Belkin's warranty covers? Or am I SOL?

OP - warranties cover manufacturer's defects, not damage due to user negligence.

Easy solution......kill the cat!

Only one possibility here....Check your home contents insurance for accidental damage...we have two furry family members and all our stuff is covered...they don't scratch our stuff, but better to be safe etc.
