Do you have cats? I have two persian cats, there eyes are always wet with that brown liquid that persian cats are famous for 'cause of their small nose too close to the eyes.

MAIN QUESTION. Is there any risk of a cat sharp its fangs on the glass top of the new iMac (rubber)? Any cat lover to tip me? Should I put something on the iMac when not home? Did your cat do something bad?

The only thing my cat does with the iMac is try to lay down directly in front of it where the heat is being expelled. It's that or he sits in front of it blocking my view of the screen. He doesn't try to chew it or gnaw on it. He may rub his nose/cheek on the sides or the screen and I have to clean it once in a while.

We have many Macs including an iMac, a Mac Pro, and a rMBP..we also have the two Bengals in the picture. Cat's won't normally go near slippery or shiny surfaces, and neither of ours has ever done any damage to our machines..Enjoy your Mac...AND your cat's!:)
