I am just doing a home network and I am running only 4 lines to my Crandlepoint 3G router (MBR1000). This is what I am using until I have DSL service in my subdivision (about a year). I have ran about half of the wiring so far with Cat5e. Would it be beneficial to run Cat6 instead with this not so crazy network? Would it help my speed at all? Even a slight amount? I need all the help I can get with my slow setup.

If you're just using it to share a DSL connection, there will be no noticeable difference.

Use CAT 6 whenever you can afford it, especially if you're planning for the future and anticipate using it for large amounts of high-speed file transfers at speeds near gigabit or above.
