Catalina 10.15.1 on 2018 mac Mini with 4k HDMI-HDMI

Wondering what people’s experience is with Catalina 10.15.1 on 2018 mac Mini with 4k HDMI-HDMI. Waiting for people to report in with this setup.

According to here, Catalina causing issues with HDMI, it is still showing up. I am installing now.

I did find that if I manually put it to sleep with Alfred, it will work overnight. However, being left for a few days (weekend), it still has the same issue.

hdmi had been working on Catalina beta then stopped working on the Catalina formal release date. now after an OS update & resetting the monitor hardware the hdmi port is working (for the 3rd monitor)

HDMI - HDMI seems to be fixed in 10.15.2 no problems so far.

I just received my refirb 2018 Mac Mini. I believe it has been shipped with Mojave (haven’t plugged it in yet), are they’re enough issues with Catalina to NOT update the OS?
