Catalina 10.15.2 - email locked up after installing update

8 hours ago I "updated" to 10.15.2. Opening mail it shows a patronising and lying dialog "While you wait you can read about the new features in mail..." (There aren't any new features).

This is still on my screen and I now need to do *WORK* and have client visits to do.

I'm really beginning to hate this Catalina buggyness.

I'll try another reboot.

Rebooted -- THAT IS SO MICROSOFT, WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AT APPLE??? -- and mail appears to be working.

I will have to check my archived files...
