Hi
After installing the latest Catalina, I tried to log on to my laptop yesterday and my password is no longer being recognised. I wouldn’t be worried about this but I’ve tried to wipe my drive to reinstall from a backup but I’m also seeing a message preventing me from wiping the drive. Strangely the recovery mode no longer shows utilities either.
At the moment my only solution seems to be wiping my drive using Linux Gparted and then installing an older version of OSX followed by installing an old image from time machine.
Edit:
In case anyone else is having the same problem, I’m using a late 2013 macbook retina pro 13”.
I’ve now managed to wipe the drive though weirdly only after disconnecting from the internet.
