I’m using a Mac Pro 2008 and installing Catalina with DosDude1’s tool. I got through making the bootable usb, got through formatting the drive as APFS after booting from the USB, but now it’s on the black screen and there WAS a timer on there. At 1st it was moving just fine but it got all the way towards the end of the bar and now it says “Estimating time remaining” and hasn’t moved for hours! I’ve looked at multiple threads on google for this and all I can find is people saying to let it go or hard reset but I don’t wanna mess anything up as all of them are doing the upgrade the right way and their devices are supported. What should I do here? I’ll gladly kick someone down some BTC if someone can help me out with this. The pic of the screen is attached.
