Does anyone have firm experience with a Catalina upgrade that does not mess with Photos libraries or functions, iTunes libraries or functions, playlists or Genius components?
Previous upgrades over the years have totally lost lots of my iPhotos and Photos images.
I now dump all my images on external DVDs before any upgrades and figure Mojave is good for at least 6 more months.
After 35 years with Apple products I'm severely disgusted with their software QC.

I recently upgraded to Catalina from a clean install of Mojave. Currently running 10.15.2.

Photos library is iCloud synced. No issues. Over 6000 photos in the library.

Music (iTunes) also works fine for me. I don't have a massive library, nor have I seen any issues. I don't use Music on the mini very often though. All my music, album art and playlists are fine.
I normally use Apple Music on the iPhone.

One issue did arise with the first version of 10.15. I had to sign out of the iCloud account and log back in a few times in order to get the syncing to work. That was the only issue I can recall.
