I am on Catalina on my MacBook Pro, all has been fine today so far in using it. One thing I have noted, is it's doing Time Machine backups fast and furious today, and they are taking a long time for each one with lots of disk activity. I realize TM backs up every hour, I am not doing that much that changes files, yet the backups are 100s of GBs each hour, and the backups are taking a long time - implying many files have changed. The backups are finishing, and it's not hung as I hear the external disk banging away almost constantly. This has been going on about 8 hours now. I have never seen this extended amount of backups before, is anyone else seeing the same or have an explanation? Thanks!
