Catalina Photo homesharing broken?

Hi there anyone experienced issues homesharing photos from macOS catalina 10.15 to AppleTV IOS 13.0?

Personal movies, podcasts etc. from Music and TV apps work via homesharing to AppleTV but my photo albums no longer appear within the AppleTVs "computer/homesharing" app.

The only setting I can find in macOS catalina in the "Media sharing" in mac settings where you can select the photos to be shared.

I'll answer this issue as things have progressed. Even after re-building the photo library under catalina, I can only assume that catalina spends a lot of time re-indexing the photo library before the photo library becomes visible through homesharing on the AppleTV.

Count a day for large libraries ... Even now that photos are visible on the appleTV, the photoanalysisd process on my mac is still chewing up lots of resource doing its business ... so be patient.

Glad that photo slideshows via homesharing still work fine on the AppleTV, it took them ages to fix that.
