Even when I am on battery, remindd process continues to run. I try to force quit in activity monitor but it comes back.

It runs as much as 200% and 50 minutes of CPU.

I'm assuming it is for synchronizing reminders. Is there any way to fix this or to turn it off? I couldn't delete or change the name of the remindd library file.

TIA.
