Hi! Maybe someone can help with this?
Catalina Kernel Panicked every ~20 mins for me... Unless I disable "put hdds to sleep when able" or whatever it's called is in power settings.
The reason it does this is my iMac has a totally borked Hybrid drive, the hdd part is trashed but the flash side works fine (the flash side is formatted as a 128GB, very fast bootcamp partition..) My MacOS partition is running from an external thunderbolt SSD, has been for years, no problems.
So far, so not really a problem - I just turn off drive sleep.
Until I get to installing Beta 2..
During the installation of beta 2 it always gets to "13 minutes remaining" and kernel panics. Im guessing the huge 6GB image is taking so long to bloody install it thinks it'll shut down the drives its not using mid installation, so I'm caught in a kernel panic loop.
Anyone have any suggestions? I feel like this problem may well continue past beta as my configuration isnt exactly normal.
