Best options?
I do buy only few movies & albums a year, but I can't remember anymore, when in a (web) shop, what I already own.

Would like to, of course, use apple's full ecosystem ie. both mac & iOS device.
Big screen at home and catalog in the pocket when "in the move".

So far I've found:

1. My Movies
Sadly only for movies

2. iCollect Everything
Pricing seems ridiculous mac app is 55€ and I'm not sure, but it seems that you'll have to pay extra for each media type in iOS. So for movies & music, it's +22€.
Pretty much for holding
And this small company got attacked and ransomwared in the beginning of this year, so I wouldn't trust them to exist forever.
Oddly, they also sell their 2 year old app versions in App Store for half a price. Which may mean that there will be new version for double the price in the future.

3. Movie Explorer Pro for mac 25€, no iOS?!?

4. DVD Profiler, no mac version...
(If company's web page looks like from 90's, is that a good or bad thing...)

4. Collectorz.com 45€ / year
Too expensive in the long run, 'cause I'm not so active buyer...

5. Delicious 43€ for mac, no full app for iOS, just a scanner...

Since I remember that very good selling point for VIC-20 was to catalog your cooking recipes, I'm blown away how hard and expensive this is...!😲

(Should I post a mirror thread to iOS Apps forum?)

Why not the free and old school approach? Create your own list in Notes or something similar.

Well, reading bar codes for few hundred titles appears to be something that could happen.
I guess I'm too lazy to that just with writing.

I just noticed that I can do own lists in blu-ray.com.
Maybe that would be good enough...

Discogs & Filmogs are fine for me. Does it have to be an application?
Can you make your catalog there after registering?
I think offline catalog isn't needed...

How about themoviedb.org?

Amazing that they fail to tell this in their wiki / info front page...
