I have 25+ years of pictures on an external hard drive. They are saved all over the place though i could do folder by folder search.
I have tried an app called Imageranger Pro as you get a 10 use out of it but it eat my battery in 45 mins of searching, and ground my mac to a standstill though it did tell me i have 108,000 pictures.
Using this app i did delete 4,000 images though these were not true pictures in the sense of JPG. There were PNG and they were no graphics to see.
Can someone recommend something that will search out pictures pls. I would like to delete some and put them into some kind of order.

Adobe Photoshop is a bit out of my league moneywise.

I have a Macbook Pro 15in late 2011 with 16gig of ram.

Any help appreciated
