We are now accustom to Apple drip feeding tech into their devices, usually led by the latest launch. I personally think it's time they need to push the barriers now that their competitors have now caught up and surpassed them in some areas.
Apple Watch has some interesting areas which we all know they'll use as their next marketing plan for the iPhone 7/iPad Air/iPad Plus (yes I think they'll go large on the next iPad Launch). Haptic touch, tap and press, splash proofing. I know it's a crowded space now in advances with the phone form factor but they should surely be pushing the boundaries once again, they should be always leading the field where possible.
I'm not saying they are losing it, what I'm saying is their integration of new tech is too slow.
