Categories Cydia help

I downloaded a Cydia app called Categories and I removed it from Cydia. But, there is an icon that I made with Categories and it will not delete from my phone. I can't delete it with Cydia and/or I can't delete it like a regular itunes app. How do I get it off my phone. Thanks for any information in advance.

Are you saying you made a folder ? Get CyDelete from Cydia and get rid of it.

downloaded cydelete but no go

I downloaded cydelete from cydia and installed but when I press on the icons I can delete all of my cydia apps just like regular apps Except the icon that I made with Categories. Also, there is nothing in the app when I click on the icon.

Then re-install categories, use it to delete the folder you made, re-spring, then uninstall Categories.

go to settings, general, restrictions. Enable restrictions, close out. Then go back in and disable restrictions.

That will return ALL your icons to springboard and out of folders. Then delete the folders.

Yeah the enable/disable restrictions thing is no longer working on 3.1.2. But this reset homescreen layout DID work, so thanks

I do I delete the folders? When the icons wiggle, there's no X on the icon for me to delete...

You have to do it from within the Category app.

categories, cydia help

i naively told categories to hide the categories icon, because i assumed it would then be available in the system preferences, which it is not. I tried re-installing it, and resetting my home screen layout, nothing is working.

any ideas?
